About Me:

 

Amy Burton is no stranger to the cosmetic and medical aesthetic industry, having spent more than 17 years as a professional make-up artist and skin care expert with Lancôme cosmetics before practicing medical aesthetic in 2008. She gained her passion for anti-aging through her career as a professional makeup artist. Seeing countless skin health issues was Amy’s driving force to want to help her clients better their skin.  Having her Associate of Science in Nutrition and being a licensed Medical Aesthetician have enabled Amy to provide her clients with a full body approach to aging skin.  

 

Amy feels fortunate to have started her Medical Aesthetic career working under the guidance of a now retired plastic surgeon, before joining Dr. Diaz’s practice in 2013. This helped direct her focus towards medical grade skin care, collagen stimulating dermal treatments, chemical peels, and body contouring treatments, while also incorporating organic formulations and custom blends. Amy will always share her passion for nutrition. She believes strongly that diet and lifestyle have a key role in the anti-aging conversation.  

 

She was chosen among her peers in 2012 to participate in a clinical trial for Radiant Peel by Dermesse Skin Care. The Radiant peel case study involved months of detailed record keeping, precise before and after photography and professional feedback, aiding in the correct compensation of the peel and comprising the post procedure skin care kit.   

 

She has advanced national training from NeedleLogics and is a certified DP Derm Practioner. She has microneedled over 500 faces to date. Her knowledge and extraordinary touch are enhanced by her ability to customize each treatment to meet her client’s specific needs.  She strives to provide the latest skin care treatments from head to toe. 

 

Having this full body approach has set her apart from others in her field. Her philosophy is quality over quantity. With over 2 decades of experience in the aesthetic industry, Amy has seen skin care routine become over complicated by marketing and misinformation. Consistent high-quality ingredients with routine maintenance are the key to beautiful glowing skin at any age.

She believes in always learning. Amy thinks it is crucial to always be evolving and open to new knowledge. Whether it is a new microneedling protocol or a new chemical formulation, her passion is educating herself and others about skin health. She also continues to study nutrition and the effects it plays on our overall health.
